St. Philip Coach: Dave Ouellette (1st season) Top returners: N/A Outlook: St. Philip is bringing the girls golf program back with Dave Ouellette coming in as the head coach. Ouellette was the varsity girls golf coach at Lakeview for seven years. The program returned due to some interest in the sport from a group of younger players, including at the 8th-grade level. Being in Division 4, St. Philip will be allowed to use those 8th-graders for varsity events and will have two on the team. According to Ouellette: "This is a building from the basics year. As a first-year team, we have some young golfers with quite a bit of competitive experience at the junior PGA level. There are also a couple of seniors who have not played competitively, so I am looking for the team to gain a lot of experience this season. The seniors also dual sport in cross-country, and are very helpful with guiding the younger golfers around high school competition.
