Outlook: St. Philip was very young last year and was winless, playing seven players who had to start as freshmen. The Tigers return all seven of those players, plus senior Brogan Lightfoot, who was the leading offensive producer a year ago. Athens brings in six players, giving the co-op a healthy 16 players on the roster. Lightfoot will again be the main ball carrier. He will get some help on the offensive side by Silas Hall, who played running back and receiver for Athens a year ago. Caleb Francisco, who played receiver for St. Philip a yea ago, will be the new quarterback. The biggest boost to the team will be the size and experience added on the offensive line with Athens adding three players who started there last year in Reese Asher, Treyton Morgan and Caden Bulifant.
